Watch Malta’s goalkeeper pull off an unreal save in Euro 2016 qualifier

We thought Manuel Neuer’s reflex save against Poland wouldn’t be topped this weekend. We were wrong.

Azerbaijan forward Ruslan Qurbanov could have been forgiven for thinking he’d scored his first international goal.

Qurbanov caught the ball perfectly just 10 yards from goal, putting it out of reach of any normal goalkeeper.

But Malta’s Andrew Hogg clearly isn’t a normal goalkeeper.

We have no idea how the British-born stopper kept this one out.
