They found a nice oasis in the urban sprawl in the historic Castlefield area of town, not far from the old Granada Studios. The conservation space is home to an old Roman fort, part of which is still standing, and it acted as a pleasant backdrop to some loosening exercises by the Belgian outfit.
Local chap Rob Pimlott was at hand to film the players in action, who seemed happy enough to mingle with the locals, and accept the cheery Manc's very courteous sentiments of good luck. Most likely requiring a victory at Old Trafford after 1-1 draw in the first leg, they may need it.
