Make a mistake as a goalkeeper, it'll almost certainly prove to be a costly one.
Those watching the Midland League Division One fixture between Ilkeston Town and Bolehall Swifts on Saturday were reminded of this point.
Ilkeston, the home side, ended up securing a 2-0 victory in the game, with the Bolehall stopper giving them a significant helping hand.
As the footage below shows, the 'keeper managed to deny one of the Ilkeston players by palming his shot from distance up in the air. Left with the seemingly simple task of catching the ball, it seemed the man between the sticks had dealt with the danger.
Unfortunately for him, this was not the case. Now facing his own goal, his attempts to gather the ball into his chest go disastrously wrong as he spills the ball over his goal line.

Who'd be a 'keeper, eh?
