Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Dillon Danis was in stellar form at the Polaris 4 event on Saturday night.
The black belt under Marcelo Garcia, who MMA fans will recognise as one of the training partners Conor McGregor drafted in for his two bouts against Nate Diaz, defeated Jakson Sousa at the BJJ event in Poole, England.
Sousa started the bout aggressively, trying hard to secure the double leg, but Danis almost punished him for his efforts by going for the choke.
The beginning of the end for the Brazilian happened when Danis tried his own takedown attempt. On the ground he reached for the leg before shifting his weight backwards and locking in a heel hook to force the tap.

Danis, who has remained a part of McGregor's team for the Notorious' historic lightweight title shot against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, has been receiving plaudits on Twitter for his performance against Sousa.
