Wait a second, is this Lewis Hamilton challenging Sebastian Vettel to a FIGHT after Baku collision?

Get this on the Mayweather-McGregor undercard

A chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix is done and dusted.

Seven of the drivers that started the race in Baku failed to finish after a series of collisions during the race, and debris on the track even saw the red flag waved during lap 22.

Lewis Hamilton, who had started the race in pole position, failed to secure a podium position – finishing the race in fifth.

Clearly, Hamilton wasn’t in the best of moods when speaking in his post-race interview, particularly when it came to discussing the incident that saw Sebastian Vettel penalised for driving his Ferrari into Hamilton while the Briton followed a safety car.

The German was given a 10 second stop and go penalty for dangerous driving as a result, but still managed to finish one place ahead of Hamilton after a problem with the Mercedes driver’s headrest forced him to pit.

“If he wants to prove he’s a man I think we should do it out of the car, face to face,” Hamilton said about Vettel after the race.

“Imagine all the young kids that are watching Formula 1 today, and see that kind of behaviour from the four-time world champion,” he added, conveniently forgetting that he’d just appeared to challenge Vettel to a fight…

Hamilton’s comments were originally heard on Radio 5 live sport on Sunday and can be heard here.
