Some would say the romance is gone out of modern football, but try telling that to Ivan Novoseltsev.
The 23-year old Russian international played his part in FC Rostov's 1-0 win over Torpedo Moscow yesterday and then was given further cause for celebration immediately after the match.
Novoseltsev invited his girlfriend, pro basketball player Katerina Keyru, onto the pitch and proceeded to get down on one knee and ask her to marry him.
Thankfully for Ivan, she agreed.
