For someone who was so famously quiet during his playing career, Paul Scholes has made a surprisingly outspoken pundit.
The Manchester United legend has not been afraid to criticise the reign of Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, taking aim at both the players and the manager.
On Thursday night, he was once again in the BT studios as his former club were knocked out of the Europa League by rivals Liverpool, which sparked a defeated-looking Scholes to wonder why United had let so many long-serving players leave the club.
