VIDEO: MLS All-Stars announce Arsenal friendly with cringe-tastic video

There's a dig at Spurs too

Kevin Beirne

Every year the best players in the US and Canada combine to take on a European side in the MLS All-Star Game.

This year, Arsenal will make the trip across the Atlantic as part of their pre-season tour in July.

The Gunners are known for their cringey social media posts, and when you combine that with the natural American cheesiness, you end up with a video so bad that it’s almost good again.

Apart from the horrible acting and the obligatory dig at the Gunners’ North London rivals (who were defeated 2-1 in last year’s All-Star game), there’s also the strange subplot of former Ballon d’Or winner Kaka being mates with Arsenal’s reserve defender Calum Chambers.
