Michael Owen thinks certain Premier League defenders receive way too much credit.
Speaking on BT Sport show 'Fletch & Sav', Owen claimed centre backs such as Chris Smalling and John Terry don't really deserve the "rave reviews" they receive.
Owen spoke highly of the grunt work done by defensive midfielders such as Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, claiming even he, a retired former striker, could play centre back for Manchester United with that midfield in front of him.
