Jurgen Klopp says his players looked stunned at half-time of Man City win (Video)

Jurgen Klopp has been preaching the need for belief since his arrival at Anfield, and it seems like there is still some work to do in the dressing-room in that regard.

Liverpool conjured up their most impressive 45 minutes of the season to Manchester City to the sword at the Ethiad Stadium on Saturday, cutting the Sky Blues’ defence to ribbons to lead 3-1 at the interval.

It was a superb display reminiscent of their thrilling title challenge two seasons earlier, but after the Reds completed a 4-1 victory, new manager Klopp admitted he walked into a stunned half-time changing room.

Speaking to US television network NBC, Klopp said that while he walked into a squad of willing players, they lacked the knowledge of how to win, and something he noticed once again at City.
