F2 Freestylers put him to the test with an Adidas 'Smart Ball' - which can track the power, trajectory and spin of a strike and beam the data back to a smartphone.
It turns out Costa's effort was a net-busting 68mph.
And he didn't even look like he was trying.
Not bad for a man of 46.
