Usain Bolt takes the piss and jogs to victory in his Olympics 100m heat

Even with six Olympic gold medals to his name, Usain Bolt still has to go through the process of proving he's worthy of a spot in the 100m final.

His first outing of the Rio Games saw the Jamaican qualify for Sunday's semi-finals as he strolled to victory in his heat with a time of 10:07. Although his start perhaps wasn't one of his best, Bolt soon nosed ahead of the rest of the field and appeared to resist reaching anything near top speed. In fact, he was so relaxed, he even had time to look across to his nearest competitor, Jamaican-born Andrew Fisher - who was representing Bahrain. Similarly to Bolt, he didn't need to hit top gear to come out ahead of the rest of the field, clocking a time of 10:01. Another Jamaican, Yohan Blake, also won his heat with a time of 10:01. It remains to be seen whether anyone can stop Bolt from taking his third straight 100m gold medal at the Olympic Games.
