One of Liverpool's first team squad was spotted in a heated argument with a group of his teammates, after full-time in the Reds' pre-season clash with Wrexham at Yankee Stadium in New York.
The Merseyside outfit came out on top during the clash with Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac's club, with youth sensation Rio Ngumoha sealing victory for Andoni Iraola's side with a well taken 75th minute strike.
This did not prevent a shock argument breaking out after full-time, when one of Liverpool's players appeared to take issue with the actions of some of his teammates.
In a widely shared social media clip, Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones was caught in a heated discussion with a group of his Reds' colleagues.
Jones can first be seen in disagreement with Dominik Szoboszlai, with the clip showing the 25-year-old waving his arms and gesturing towards the Hungary star.
Jones can then be seen in further furious discussions with defenders Kostas Tsimikas and Jeremie Frimpong, before eventually being led away by the latter.
The surprise argument comes amid rumours that Liverpool are working on a deal to sell Jones to Inter Milan, with the well regarded Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Reds are in advanced talks with the Serie A side over a deal.
Considering that speculation, and last night's events, fans are now convinced there is no chance Jones will be still at Anfield by the start of next season.
One took to X to write: "This guy really wants to leave they should let him go if not he will create confusion in the dressing room."
Another added: "Curtis Jones is not happy at Liverpool and they should let him go. He is waisting his best years by not playing."
It now remains to be seen how negotiations for a sale develop over the coming weeks.
