UK athletics clear Mo Farah to continue working with Alberto Salazar

Mo problem...

UK Athletics have found “no reason to be concerned” about Mo Farah continuing to use Alberto Salazar as his coach at his US training base.

UKA carried out a full review into allegations of doping against Salazar, but found “no evidence of any impropriety” by Farah, nor any reason to “lack confidence” in his training programme.

The long-distance athlete will continue to work with his long-time coach, after the governing body made “organisational and procedural recommendations” going forward.

UK Athletics confirmed that there was “no evidence of impropriety” on Farah’s part, nor do they have reason to question the “appropriateness of the input” of Salazar’s team.

Formal investigations by the US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) and UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) continue.
