Bobby Knuckles is ripped

Robert Whittaker looks fighting fit ahead of his first ever UFC title shot.

At UFC 213, Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero will slug it out for the interim middleweight title.

Both fighters are undefeated in the UFC’s 185lbs division. Romero is riding an eight-fight win streak since making his promotional debut in 2013, whereas Whittaker has won all six of his bouts after moving up from welterweight.

‘Bobby Knuckles’ has been on the absolute tear at middleweight. In Anthony Johnson’s absence, he has become the poster boy for not cutting huge amounts of weight. He went 3-2 at welterweight, dropping a split decision to Court McGee and a knockout loss to Stephen Thompson before closing the welterweight chapter on a unanimous decision over Mike Rhodes.

Four days out from his highly-anticipated co-main event against ‘the Soldier of God’ at UFC 213, the TUF Smashes winner uploaded a photo of himself to Instagram.

Whittaker’s clearly put in all the hard work in the build-up to the biggest fight of his career as he appears to be in the shape of his life.

We’re not sure whether it’s the make-up or whatever filter was used for the post, but he almost looks like a wax likeness of himself in this snap.

Judging by Countdown to UFC 213, Romero will be as shredded as expected for this one.

During the wrestling portion of the special, he showed off Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle physique as he took down and threw multiple fools at will on the mat.

No surprise there.
