The Gypsy King has had his say on the incident

Tyson Fury has reacted to viral footage of Boxpark Wembley bouncer Julius Francis knocking a lairy punter out with a single punch earlier this week.

Francis, 57, is a former professional boxer. He fought Mike Tyson in 2000 and at one point was the British heavyweight champion.

He now works as a security guard at the food and drink venue that sits in the shadow of Wembley Stadium.

Francis and his security team were dealing with a handful of unruly patrons, removing the men from the premises, when one in particular made a beeline for the former heavyweight champion.

“I hope you have a heart attack you fat ****” yelled the man as he became increasingly irate.

After pushing a smaller security guard into railings and lashing out at others, the man then approached Francis while appearing to raise his hand. The 57-year-old responded with a swift right hand which appeared to knock the customer out cold.

Those at the scene could be heard claiming there was “no need” for the knockout, though the majority of opinion has since differed. Boxpark founder Roger Wade came out in defence of Francis, claiming he was just doing his job and is “one of the nicest people” he has ever met.

Reigning heavyweight king Tyson Fury has now voiced his opinion of the incident.

Speaking to Piers Morgan Uncensored, Fury, who last fought in said: “I saw the video, great right hand. What do you expect? These guys are doing their job, he’s attacking, so he’s been chinned.

“It’s a life lesson. Never be cheeky to big men because you’re probably gonna get chinned.”

Fury has found himself back in the headlines recently after implying he could come out of retirement.

He revealed plans to fight Mike Tyson or The Rock in an exhibition fight, which he says is for “pure entertainment.”

Fury was speaking on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday where he was asked what the future would hold and if he would be tempted to come out of retirement.

And the 33-year-old revealed that he is looking at taking on exhibition-style matches and had a number of names he would be keen to fight.

“In an exhibition you can fight old-timers, famous people, whoever you want. I’m looking at fighting Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, whoever,” he said.

“The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, that would be fantastic. You never know who we could be fighting on one of these shows but that’s what I’m open to in the upcoming future.”
