Tyson Fury: I am not a homophobe and I don’t hate anybody (Video)

A defiant Tyson Fury appeared on Sky Sports on Thursday, adamant that he is not a homophobe and rather a uniting presence in the world.

When asked directly whether he was homophobic, Fury said it would be un-Christian to be so:

"No, definitely not. I wouldn't be a very good Christian if I hated anybody, would I? If Jesus loves the world, I love the world.  "I haven't got no hate for anybody. I haven't got any enemies, I don't hate any race, colour, creed, generation - nobody."

He went on to stress that he was in fact uniting people, rather than causing further discrimination:

"My team is one of those most diverse teams, amongst religions, in the world of boxing. We've got Jamaicans in there, we've got Pakistanis in there, we've got Indians in there - Christians, Muslims - we're all united. "What about that? Why don't they broadcast that? Tyson Fury is uniting the world, uniting Christians and Muslims in a time when everything's up in the air?  "We don't hear about that do we? We don't hear about the good things I'm doing. We just hear about the comments people want to twist and make me sound like I hate people and hate the world. "I love all of God's children. We are all God's children. Whatever somebody does, it's not up to me to judge them, it's not up to you to judge them. God will judge them in his good due time."
