Wilder crashed the party

Barring a shocking upset this weekend, Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder looks nailed on for the winter.

Fury has returned to his usual fighting weight after ballooning up to 27 stone in his time away from the ring, weighing in at 18st 6lbs ahead of his clash with Francesco Pianeta.

Fury is a massive betting favourite to extend his perfect professional record to 27-0 and if he does, Wilder be sat ringside to confront his fellow undefeated heavyweight.

The WBC heavyweight champion has already arrived in Belfast to crash the party and he made his presence known at the weigh-ins.

Wilder shouted “Bomb Squad” as Fury took to the scales on Friday afternoon but Fury’s father, John, took umbrage with the interruption and let ‘The Bronze Bomber’ know all about it.

Promoter Frank Warren shared footage of the exchange, which began with a handshake, on Twitter but it wasn’t the only clash involving Wilder as he shared words with ‘The Gypsy King’ in the hotel lobby shortly thereafter.

Surrounded by hundreds of fans, Fury and Wilder went back and forth much to the delight of the pro-Fury crowd.
