Two QPR fans made the ultimate display of their footballing loyalty

Like father, like son

How much do you love your football team?

For some of us, showing our love of our football team means paying slightly over the odds for a ticket here and there or even just shelling out for a TV sports package so you can watch them play from the comfort of your couch.

But then there are those who take their devotion a little bit further.

We told you before about the Arsenal fan who slipped a Gunners reference into his daughter’s name without his wife knowing, but these QPR fans have gone one step beyond.

According The Mirror, a father and son showed their support for the West London by renaming themselves Queens Park Rangers.

This raises a whole bunch of questions. Why would anyone do this? Do they refer to themsleves as QPR Sr. and QPR Jr? And do they remember their new names the same way Mike in Friends did?

Other, less devoted, football fans chose names like Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

But there were still some rather creative name-changes in 2015, with Bacon Double Cheeeburger, Happy Birthday and Michael Connor Lightning Akimbo Wumbo Wigglesworth Pussyfoot Katzenjammer the pick of the bunch.
