A fitting end to two legendary careers.

Dan Carter and Richie McCaw bowed out of test rugby in style as New Zealand overcame Australia to retain the Rugby World Cup. The New Zealand fly-half was on-hand to score two conversions, four penalties and a drop goal for the All-Blacks, while McCaw signs off as the first captain to lead his country to successive World Cup crowns. Or has he? Understandably, Twitter was full of praise for the legendary pair. https://twitter.com/rorylawson9/status/660520629515517952 https://twitter.com/gerrythornley/status/660512454573715456?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/brianmoore666/status/660520252120240129 https://twitter.com/BreatheSport/status/660517040336293888 https://twitter.com/BBCTomEnglish/status/660521617857093632 https://twitter.com/KP24/status/660510977025302532?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/zanelowe/status/660514224746008576?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/AliWilliams_/status/660514777672916992?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/brianmoore666/status/660512531773964289 https://twitter.com/owen_g/status/660515126181625856 https://twitter.com/_PaulHayward/status/660514260037058560 https://twitter.com/HelenClarkUNDP/status/660522294389948416 https://twitter.com/MichaelVaughan/status/660512444226412544?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
