Transfer gossip: Man United track £40m Muller…

Matt Stanger

Chelsea want Dzeko

Chelsea are eyeing up Edin Dzeko as a replacement for the departing Didier Drogba, report the Daily Mirror.

The Bosnia & Herzegovina international has struggled for form and fitness this season, and could be allowed to leave for as little as £10m during Manchester City’s summer shake-up.

The 29-year-old would surely jump at a move to Stamford Bridge, with Juventus, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg also interested.

Man United track Muller

According to The Independent on Sunday, Thomas Muller is at the top of Louis van Gaal’s summer wish list as Manchester United prepare another spending spree.

Van Gaal played an important role in Muller’s development during his spell as Bayern Munich manager, and it’s thought that the forward is open to working with the Dutchman again.

United would need to pay around £40m to recruit the 25-year-old, with Bayern understandably reluctant to sell.

United also watching Felipe Anderson

Lazio’s Felipe Anderson is another name on Manchester United’s long list of targets, according to the Sunday People.

The speedy forward helped Lazio climb into second in Serie A on Saturday with a 1-0 win at Sampdoria, and has claimed ten goals and seven assists in just 30 appearances this season.

United fans will hope the 22-year-old is better than the last Anderson to grace the pitch at Old Trafford…
