Tito Ortiz won a huge chunk of change betting on Amanda Nunes to beat Ronda Rousey

Winner winner chicken dinner

Tito Ortiz was among the big winners outside the Octagon from UFC 207.

Arguably the biggest winner inside the cage that night (apart from maybe newly-crowned bantamweight king Cody Garbrandt) was the star of the main event, Amanda Nunes.

The undisputed women’s bantamweight champion is sure to see her stock rise after a sensational year that culminated with her dismantling the greatest queen the division has ever seen in record time. Nunes put on a striking masterclass, finding home with her rangey power-punches in the early exchanges to score a phenomenal knockout victory over the combat sports superstar in just 48 seconds.

Although it was a massively one-sided fight, Nunes actually entered into it as the underdog against the former champion. This meant that anyone who had placed a few quid on the Brazilian was smiling from ear-to-ear in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

One such person who was delighted with what he saw inside the Octagon that night was former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz. The Huntington Beach Bad Boy placed a huge $50,000 bet on the champ to successfully defend her belt on the first time of asking.

The gamble paid off in a big way for the retiring Bellator star who more than doubled his money, collecting a staggering $127,500 from that one bet.

You have to love easy bets! #ufc207
