After almost a decade between the sticks for the Toffees, Tim Howard will leave Everton for his native land of the US and take up a contract with MLS side Colorado Rapids.
Despite a recent dip in form which saw Everton fans celebrate the news that Howard was off, the 37-year-old will make a pretty penny once he arrives stateside.
While it's not clear just how much the former Manchester United keeper will make, it's clear none of his peers will want to compare payslips with the New Jersey native.
Howard is reportedly set to earn $2.8m ($1.94m) per year in MLS - slightly more than the salaries of all the other starting goalkeepers in MLS combined ($2.797m). Not a bad way to end your career.
