To be completely fair to Tim Bresnan, he definitely wasn't the only one that expected England to get through their final over and seal victory in the WT20 final.

With West Indies needing 19 runs from the final six overs, Bresnan - part of the England side that won the WT20 in 2010 - took to twitter to boldly declare that the contest was as good as over. timbresnan https://twitter.com/timbresnan/status/716671740571754496 Although many spectators were probably *thinking* the same, most Englishmen will know that even when victory seems to be guaranteed for any of their national sides, that's not always the case. Carlos Brathwaite went on to smash Ben Stokes for 24 runs off his first four balls to hand victory to the West Indies. https://twitter.com/timbresnan/status/716672284266799104 'No, no, no' indeed, Tim. Predictably, Twitter had plenty to say to Bresnan in the immediate aftermath. https://twitter.com/AaronWhite94/status/716673205038149632 https://twitter.com/ScottCrabby/status/716673049857302529 https://twitter.com/saket8097/status/716682960439738380 https://twitter.com/dickiebowes/status/716679767676874752 https://twitter.com/MuddyBurge/status/716675637784809472 https://twitter.com/mattmattysawyer/status/716677119498170373
