With Manchester United finally managing to get out of sixth for more than a few hours, a victory for City over Liverpool in the later game on Sunday would leave Jose Mourinho's side with a chance to climb into the top four - if they won their games in hand over the Merseyside club.
Knowing that this was one of few occasions where United supporters might be hoping for a City victory, the person with the keys to this Twitter account clearly meant this call for supporters of both Manchester clubs to unite against Liverpool as a piss take... not that plenty of those that saw it realised this...
