They’re both top class goalkeepers to be fair.

Thibaut Courtois is having a blinder this season between the sticks at Chelsea as Antonio Conte’s men chase Premier League glory.

And we don’t have to reel off all the attributes of David De Gea who would probably be top of the goalkeeping wishlists of every big club in Europe.

But Courtois, who has recorded six clean sheets this season, was on Belgian TV and explained the one area he believes De Gea has got the upper hand on him.

The Belgium international was asked quick fire questions on his fellow goalkeepers in a quiz on La Tribune show in his homeland on Monday.

He was given a list of ‘keepers and asked to pick one quality he believed they trumped him on, according to Metro.

On the United number one, Courtois answered: ‘He has very good reflexes. On his line, he is one of the best. But I am also.’

On Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet, Courtois said: ‘One on one.’

Then when asked about Petr Cech, the Chelsea ‘keeper replied: ‘I have a lot of respect for him. He’s the best guy I’ve met in football at all levels.

‘Upon my arrival in Chelsea, he always helped and advised.’
