Thiago Silva has made his return to top-tier European football at the age of 41.
The former Chelsea and PSG centre-back had been plying his trade in his home nation of Brazil since leaving the Blues last year, but has recently expressed interest in returning to Europe.
After spending 18-months with boyhood side Fluminense, and making 46 appearances, the 113-capped Brazil star agreed to terminate his contract early, in order to facilitate that return to Europe.

Ignoring calls from John Terry for a return to Stamford Bridge, with whom the ex-PSG man won the 2021 UCL, Silva has instead joined a different former Champions League winning club.
Silva has agreed a six-month deal with Portuguese outfit Porto.
The 2004 European Cup winners have history with reigniting the careers of veteran defenders, recently providing a home for former Real Madrid star Pepe well into his 40s.
Silva gave the following comment on completion of his transfer, saying: "I'm super motivated, and I hope I can help in the best way possible."
Thiago Silva is without doubt one of the greatest defenders in modern football history.
Across a trophy-laden two decades in Europe, the veteran centre-half has played in multiple World Cups, and Champions League campaigns, but still has unfinished business in Portugal with Porto.
20 years ago he was part of the squad for Porto's B-side, but never succeeded in making an appearance for the first team, instead transferring to Dynamo Moscow, and later AC Milan and PSG.
It appears that Silva is now set to finally achieve that ambition.
