But now Chelsea better hope they don't draw AFC Wimbledon in the cup this time around, because Akinfenwa has his eye on their striker Diego Costa - the man who also carries the nickname 'El Cholo' (The Beast).
Akinfenwa, speaking at the UK launch of the new FIFA 16 game in London, said he was an admirer of the Spanish forward's game. But if it came to a one-on-one challenge, Costa would not be coming out on top.
"I like Diego Costa as a player," he said. "He's got that aggression, but there's only one winner if he comes up against me."
