With Newcastle United and Manchester City drawing 1-1 after a competitive first half, there was little sign of what was to come in blistering second period.
The Geordie visitors took the lead in the 18th minute through a Aleksandar Mitrovic header, only for Sergio Aguero to equalise from short range shortly before the break.
But the brilliant Argentine was only getting started. Because he scored again in the 49th minute, then again a minute later at the 50 minute mark...before scoring once more in the 60th minute...then another 2 minutes later.
It was a masterclass in finishing from one of the greatest centre-forwards that English football has ever seen. A spirited Newcastle was obliterated in a matter of minutes.
