The disparity of Portugal’s attacking talent is alarming

Portugal have arguably the world's best forward in Cristiano Ronaldo, but can you name their second choice?

Over the years, the Selecção have rarely had the best of the best at their disposal, but the likes of Pauleta, Nuno Gomes and even Hélder Postiga were at least playing at the highest level. The only other forward in the current squad is 22-year-old Lucas João, currently in his first season with Sheffield Wednesday. We don't anticipate Ronaldo passing the ball to either of the pair once he returns to action...mostly because we doubt he's aware of their existence.
