Over the weekend, Steven Gerrard revealed that he required stitches in a penis injury following a tackle against Bournemouth in the FA Cup last season.
Yes, it almost made us throw up the first time we read it, too.
Now, thanks to the industrious work of Youtuber Beanyman, we can see the exact challenge that led to the injury - which sounds like the least fun that could ever be had.
Gerrard was closing down Harry Arter when little Stevie was cut open. However, he barely even flinched, getting back into position for the resulting corner kick.
It wasn't until he got back into the dressing room that he got his todger seen to.
"It was eye-watering. I tried to close down a winger to block his cross but felt a stinging in my privates. I thought, 'S--t — that doesn't feel right!' It was stinging like f--k," he said.
"The gash looked pretty bad, right across the middle. There was plenty of blood. I needed four stitches and the lads were absolutely pissing themselves."
Not a fun story.
