American football players use a lot of equipment in their games.
Players are weighed down by everything from helmets to their oversized pads - but this is the most unusual thing we've ever seen. Virginia Tech running-back J.C. Coleman has been spotted wearing a gold watch on his wrist during his team's 42-24 defeat to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
In case you're wondering, Coleman isn't just wearing the watch on the sidelines between plays, he's testing his mettle out against the top-ranked team in college football.
Apparently Coleman has been wearing a watch during games for over a year new, but has just upgraded to gold.
