Malcolm's seven goals in 19 Ligue 1 appearances in this campaign already matches the tally he registered in the whole of last season and several Premier League clubs were on high alert, with Manchester United also believed to be in the discussion.
But it quickly looked to be a two-horse race when Leonardo Cornacini of Elenko Sports, the agency which represents the youngster, posted a photograph to Instagram of Malcolm's representatives in London on business.
If the deal goes ahead as expected, it's understood to be worth in the region of £40 million, with £10 million in add-ons.
