Son Heung-min being nice to teammates’ kids is the video you need to see right now

Simon Lloyd

It is literally impossible not to like Son Heung-min

Is this the most important  bit of sports news you’ll read today? No. Is it even sports news? Nope, probably not.

Frankly though, that’s not important. We all – every single one of us – need the video below in our lives.

Son Heung-min has established himself as one of the finest players on the planet this season and has rightly received plenty of  plaudits for his performances.

Already a hugely popular figure with Spurs supporters, it’s also emerged that Son is bloody lovely with his teammates’ kids, too.

Footage of the Korean interacting with the children of some of the other Spurs’ players while on the pitch after their final league game of the season against Everton on Sunday has been widely shared on Twitter over the last couple of days.

Have a look. It’s easy to see why…

Understandably, the footage has sparked a  big reaction.

Son has played a key role in Spurs’ march to their first ever Champions League final, particularly in their quarter final win over Manchester City where he scored three times over the course of the two legs.

After their thrilling win over Ajax last week, they are now preparing to face Liverpool in next month’s final in Madrid.
