But Fury has had a fire lit underneath him thanks to some motivational words from one of his sporting heroes as Sir Alex Ferguson penned a letter to the 22-year-old urging him to concentrate on his strategy, not the spectacle.
"That was the greatest moment ever, to receive that letter through the post," Fury said on BBC 5 Live.
"For such a great and such an idol of a man, to get a letter from him, it was just unbelievable.
"He wished me all the best and told me not to let the occasion get above me.

"He told me how he would talk to his players before a match. He'd tell them 'Don't let the occasion become you. You focus on your game, focus on what you need to do.'
