Shakira can’t write any new songs – because her son keeps singing the Barca anthem

You know what it's like when you've got a song stuck in your head - you can hardly think of anything else.

Well it's even tougher if your job is penning songs and that earworm is your own kid. Shakira has that exact problem, which isn't helped by the fact that her husband is of course Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué. It means their toddler has already started with the football chants. "The last time I tried to do a song was in the car with Milan. A melody came to my mind while he was singing Barcelona anthem loudly," explains Shakira. "I had to stop and memorise the melody until we reached home. But once there, my inspiration had gone! I had recorded it on my mobile but I could only hear Barca's anthem..." She admits that having kids isn't necessarily conducive to a successful music career - not that she's grumbling about the fact: "Making music and raise children it's a problem. But it is a good problem, I'm not complaining. I always wanted to have a complete family. Now I just have to find the time and the balance to fulfill all my goals.
