Sergio Aguero suffered a heart arrhythmia during a live Twitch stream on Wednesday night.
The former Manchester City forward was forced to retire from football in December, 2021 after having a heart scare for Barcelona while playing jus two months beforehand.
He was forced to come off after complaining of chest discomfort during a fixture against Alaves before being diagnosed with heart arrhythmia.
As a result, Aguero was fitted with a pacemaker and confirmed his immediate retirement from football during an emotional press conference.
Since his retirement the Argentine has regularly streamed on Twitch but those watching on Wednesday witnessed a brief scare as the 34-year-old paused before putting his hand on his chest.
Thankfully he was with Ibai Llanos - one of the biggest streamers in Spain - who noticed the former striker put his hand to his chest before asking:"What's up, man?"
Aguero then replied: "I think... I think... I just had a mini-arrhythmia."
Llanos asked if he would need to get a doctor but Aguero explained that he has "a chip and the famous chip will detect it and send a signal."
As well as former a new career out of online streaming, Aguero was also a special guest of the Argentina squad as they celebrated their first World Cup win since 1986.
He was a main part of the celebrations alongside Lionel Messi and the rest of the side on the pitch in Qatar after they beat France on penalties.
