Sepp Blatter has backed out of his FIFA resignation with the oldest trick in the book - denying anything and everything.
The ex-President of the governing body is now the ex-ex-President, after refusing to ackowledge that his resignation speech actually meant he was resigning. Silly us.

If the original resignation was an act, it might just be the worst piece of acting we have seen since
United Passions.
Perhaps he's gearing up for a grand reveal about the 2022 World Cup: "I never awarded it to Qatar. I put the location of the tournament in the hands of the FIFA congress."
All we know for now is that rumours of Blatter's demise were greatly exaggerated.
