Saudi Arabia remain confident that Mohamed Salah is still weighing up whether to make the move this summer, as per a new report from The Telegraph.
Despite this confidence, it is understood that there is little chance that the player would move to Al-Hilal ahead of the Club World Cup in June.
Yet to agree on his future terms in Merseyside, Salah's communication remains open with the SPL.
A senior source told The Telegraph that the attacker remains 'interested' in the SPL, believing that the Liverpool legend will be signed up to the league this summer.
Salah's deal currently runs out on June 30, with the Club World Cup starting in the United States on June 14.
Subject to a previous bid from the SPL, Al-Ittihad proposed an offer of £150m in 2023, which was rebuffed by Arne Slot's side.
The form of the Egyptian King has been stellar this season with 27 goals in the Premier League so far - his best return since his debut season.
However, yet to agree a new deal, his future remains uncertain as Liverpool close in on their first Premier League title under new gaffer Slot.
