A hard worker on the pitch and a selfless man off it
Sadio Mané is one of those players whom it's impossible to dislike. Even if you support a rival team, it feels like Mané has never and will never do anything bad in his life. His work ethic on the pitch - as well as his devastating pace and efficiency in front of goal - have endeared him to the Liverpool faithful and it doesn't look like that love affair will end any time soon.
Mané scored the opening goal of Liverpool's 2-1 win over Leicester yesterday, helping the side win their first four games of a Premier League season for the first time ever.
The Senegalese forward then went to his local mosque in Liverpool yesterday evening and was seen helping to clean the toilets. A video of the player cleaning the toilets and wudhu area of the mosque was posted on Twitter at 12:04am last night.
Yet another reason to admire Mané, he is a grounded, down to earth human being who hasn't let his superstar status to get to his head.
It's a very humble gesture from the player and only goes to confirm that his selflessness is not confined to the pitch.
