Robert Lewandowski hands in transfer request to Bayern Munich
His time in the Bundesliga seems to have come to an end
Bayern Munich appear set to lose Robert Lewandowski this summer, as the striker has informed the club that he wants to leave this summer after four seasons with the German giants.
Lewandowski has won four consecutive league titles with Bayern, although he has never lifted the Champions League.
The forward has consistently been linked with a move away from the Allianz, with the Poland international reportedly keen on a move to Real Madrid, though it has never materialised due to Madrid's fondness of Karim Benzema.

Chelsea appear to be leading the race for the striker, with Álvaro Morata likely to depart after a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge.
It's not clear who will be sitting in the dugout at Stamford Bridge next season as manager, but you'd be hard pushed to find a manager who wouldn't want Lewandowski in their team.
Bayern will also be hard pushed to find an adequate replacement for their star player, although given their record for hoovering up the best talent in the Bundesliga, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them target RB Leipzig's Timo Werner, who has impressed this season and looks set to start for Germany at this summer's World Cup.
