Richard Keys, now a presenter with beIN Sports, has claimed that the player's agent, Aidy Ward, was told Sterling would soon be working with Pep Guardiola if he made the move to the Etihad.
'Let me share with you one other thing that persuaded Sterling that he wanted to go to City,' writes Keys in his blog. 'I’m reliably informed that Ward was asked to let Sterling know that if he made the move he'd 'very soon be working with Pep Guardiola.''
