Riccardo Calafiori's move to Arsenal is reported to be a doubt after a major twist.
After stellar Euro 2024 performances, the Gunners have shown a huge interest in the Bologna defender.
In 2022, the player left Roma to join Basel before a move to Bologna.
Since this transfer former boss Thiago Motta has completely transformed the player, converting him to a wide centre-back.
As per reports, Arsenal have formerly offered £37million to sign the sought-after 22-year-old, which would be a large profit on the £3.4m paid for him just last summer.
Despite this offer, it's claimed the club want £46million to entertain the sale of the player.
The Times additionally have reported that as a replacement Bologna would want to sign Arsenal's Jakub Kiwior.
The Gunners would be happy to let the player leave, however Kiwior isn't keen on the prospect.
Napoli and Inter Milan are believed to possess an interest in the player alongside AC Milan.
Resultantly, Kiwior wants to wait until a 'bigger club' approaches.
