The Premier League season is soon to commence and fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the action on Friday night as Manchester United welcome Fulham.
Earlier today, it was announced that there would be a big change to VAR too ahead of the new season causing delight amongst fans.
Since its introduction in 2019, VAR has been at the centre of many controversies.
Only last season, Nottingham Forest called out the PGMOL via X over several decisions made by officials during their 2-0 defeat at Everton.
However now changes are positive, with an introduction of the Premier League Match Centre resulting in a positive reaction from fans.
The Premier League Match Centre provides live updates from Stockley Park, in an aim to increase transparency and communication with fans.
The X account has already amassed over 100,000 followers and communicated with fans ahead of the new season with a string of tweets.
