So, that’ll be a no then?

Charlotte Church may not have quite the household name that she had as a child singing prodigy, but it seems she’s still much in demand with the world’s wealthiest and most powerful people.

According to the Welsh singer, she was asked to perform at the inauguration of Donald Trump in Washington DC on Friday 20 January.

Her response was straight to the point.

At time of writing, Trump has still to respond.

So far, those confirmed to play reads like a veritable ‘who’s that?’ of the entertainment industry.

The Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, “America’s Got Talent” singer Jackie Evancho are all slated for the event.

As well as church, it has reportedly been turned down by Elton John, KISS, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Kanye West, Chainsmokers, David Foster, and Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil.
