Within minutes of the announcement that Gary Neville would take over as manager of Valencia, Phil Neville was quickly becoming the butt of many jokes.
Phil was made assistant manager at the club by Peter Lim at the start of the season, and some suggested that the decision to appoint his older brother may bring out some resentment from his sibling.

Phil will be taking charge of the team for their game against Barca, before Gary starts work next week.
