Former Manchester United defender Phil Jones has ventured further into coaching, as he has taken on a role as first team coach at an English club.
Now 33 years of age, Jones spent the vast majority of his career at Old Trafford, initially signed by the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson.
Spending 12 years in Manchester, he racked up 169 appearances, though sadly struggled with injuries.
Since retiring, Jones has taken up coaching, working with the under-14 and under-18 teams in the United academy.
Though now, he has moved back to the club where it all started: Lancastrian Blackburn Rovers.
Lowly in the Championship, the once Premier League champions Rovers currently sit 22nd in the league and are in need of resurgence to avoid relegation to League 1.
They've moved fast, appointing Head Coach Michael O’Neill, who has added first team coaches Jones and Steven Davis to the team.
