Pep Guardiola has admitted he is uncertain as to whether a Manchester City star will stay at the club this summer.
Only recently was he questioned regarding the future of star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, in which he made it clear that the Belgian international would be staying at the club at all costs.
City were defeated 4-3 in their opening pre-season friendly versus Celtic, however it was a much-changed XI.
Regular first team starters only included Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Rico Lewis and Stefan Ortega.
Goalkeeper Ederson also made a substitute appearance in the second-half, however has also been heavily linked with a move to Al Ittihad recently.
When asked on the future of Ederson, Guardiola did not completely shut down the speculation:
"I don't know if Ederson will stay. He has to make a decision."
As per Fabrizio Romano, City would be open to a sale should they be offered between €50-60million.
Further reports state the Brazilian goalkeeper has already agreed personal terms with the Saudi Pro League club.
Usually, Guardiola does not sanction exits for key players, although Riyad Mahrez was allowed to leave last summer with Jeremy Doku quickly signed as his successor.
It may be a summer of change at the Manchester club, however Stefan Ortega is seen by many fans as a more than capable replacement should Ederson depart.
The German goalkeeper earned mass plaudits for his exceptional save against Tottenham Hotspur last season, in a game where the stakes were incredibly high.
City subsequently won the game and the Premier League title.
