This MMA fight is certainly one you won’t forget

During Russia’s Fighting Championship this week, a 75-year-old pensioner and his 18-year-old grandson came face to face with a solitary woman as their opponent.

During February 8’s climactic battle, Yulia Mishko, also known as “the Tomboy” in the MMA community, stepped into the ring across from opponents Big Igibob, 18, and his 75-year-old grandfather Vladimir Spartak.

Neither Igibob nor his grandfather had any fighting experience before the event except the latter’s time during the Vietnam war.

With each round taking three minutes, the fight continued for three rounds and seemed to follow standard MMA rules. All three fighters were clad in MMA gloves, and the referee reportedly allowed ground-and-pound techniques.

While Igibob seemingly shied away from the confrontation, his elderly grandfather got up close and personal with their opponent and can be seen to take numerous jabs to the face.

Despite Mishko facing two opponents, Igibob can be seen letting his grandfather take most of the punches as he backs off from the attack. Even though she was outnumbered, Mishko walked away relatively unscathed, and her coaches even shared giggles between rounds.

Shockingly, the fight came to a draw despite both men inflicting no damage and being decked three times between them.

In a post-match interview, Spartak admitted that come round three; he had given up on winning. Igibob however believes it to be the best fight in Epic Fighting Championship’s history and looks forward to future matches alongside his grandad.
