Paul Scholes takes aim at Anthony Martial after PSV hold United at home

His criticism of Louis van Gaal has been well documented, but it now appears that Paul Scholes is less than impressed with Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial.

In a week where the former United midfielder has also questioned Bastian Schweinsteiger's influence on his former team since signing from Bayern Munich, Scholes shared his views on the young Frenchman after the 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven. "He doesn't look bothered if he misses a chance. He doesn't look bothered if he scores a goal. As a centre forward, all you live for is scoring goals, all you want to do is score goals," claimed Scholes. "He doesn't look like one of those players to me and maybe they need to go into the transfer market in January for one of them." Martial, who marked his debut for United with a memorable goal against Liverpool, missed two chances to put his side ahead in the first half against PSV.

A victory would have made sure of Manchester United's place in the knock out stages of the Champions League, but they now must win in their final fame at Wolfsburg if they are to guarantee qualification.
